Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A short application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] an MSc or MPhil in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, or a PhD
[ ] strong software development skills and practical programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C/C++ or JavaScript
[ ] you email career@acity.edu.gh with the job title as the subject line

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] CV or resume (One or two pages. No CV yet? Our CV starter builds a plain one from your answers.)
[ ] Cover or motivation letter (Short, written for this one: why this, what you have done that fits.)
[ ] References: three (Ask your referees now and send them the listing. Give them time.)
[ ] Essay, statement or proposal (Answer the question they ask, in your own words, with real examples.)
It also names something beyond these; read their words below.
In their words: "A CV and covering letter, the names of three referees, a statement of teaching philosophy and a research statement."

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)
- On the date, the listing says: Posted 2 March 2026 and still listed under Job Openings on the university's careers page; the post says 'Closing date: Until position is filled. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.'.

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
