This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/alx-data-scientist-remote-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
The application takes real work, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] Remote role open across Africa
[ ] A degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics or computer science
[ ] Have 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in data science, analytics or business intelligence, with strong SQL and Python
[ ] Works remotely within Africa on SAST, CAT or EAT time zones (GMT+2 to GMT+3)

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] CV or resume (One or two pages. No CV yet? Our CV starter builds a plain one from your answers.)
In their words: "The employer's online form asks for uploads: Resume/CV (required). It has 2 required written questions, starting with: What interests and excites you about joining ALX."

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
