1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] working in agricultural research, a ministry, a university or an international research organization in Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone or Senegal
[ ] for women. We do not ask your gender, so check this one yourself
[ ] at least a master's degree in a relevant discipline
[ ] at least seven years of work in agriculture and agrifood systems

2. WHAT TO GET READY
An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting.
In their words: "An online form with no uploads: personal and education details, written answers on your research experience (300 words), one project on gender or inclusion (600 words), your leadership roles (300 words), actions you would take after the fellowship (300 words) and possible challenges, plus nominations of up to three mentors with reasons. French speakers use a separate form."

3. DATES
- Closes 6 November 2026, in 15 days.
- Aim to send it by 3 November 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)
