This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/bennington-young-scientists-awards-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A short application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] a secondary school student in grades 9 to 12; students who have already finished secondary school cannot enter
[ ] a sponsoring teacher or mentor must approve the entry; grade 12 entrants first submit a free Common App or Coalition application to Bennington

2. WHAT TO GET READY
It asks for something outside the usual documents; read it below.
In their words: "Up to five images or PDFs and an optional text of up to 500 words"

3. DATES
- Closes 1 November 2026, in 10 days.
- Aim to send it by 29 October 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
