This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/canonical-senior-site-reliability-gitops-engineer-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] Open to applicants across Africa; role is home based worldwide
[ ] Bachelor's degree or greater, preferably in computer science or engineering
[ ] Senior level Python and Kubernetes experience with enterprise Linux administration

2. WHAT TO GET READY
An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting.
In their words: "Online application via Canonical careers portal."

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
