This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/devpost-amazon-build-ship-shape-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] at least the age of majority where you live

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] Portfolio or work samples (A few of your best pieces, with a line on what you did in each.)
[ ] A video (Short, clear sound, good light. A phone is enough.)
It also names something beyond these; read their words below.
In their words: "A project entry on the Devpost hackathon site with a text description, a GitHub repository link (public with an open source licence, or private and shared with the judges), a public demo video under three minutes on YouTube or Vimeo, and written feedback on the tools you used."

3. DATES
- Closes 23 October 2026, in 1 day.
- On the date, the listing says: 12:00pm PDT
- This closes tomorrow. Start only if you can finish. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
