Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] at least 13 years old, with parental or guardian permission if under the age of majority where you live
[ ] the build phase is for teams that sent a proposal: the page says 'From August 26 through October 26, all teams that submitted the required proposal will build, evaluate, document, and submit their final projects.' Check on the page whether a new team can still join

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] Essay, statement or proposal (Answer the question they ask, in your own words, with real examples.)
[ ] A video (Short, clear sound, good light. A phone is enough.)
It also names something beyond these; read their words below.
In their words: "A proposal on Devpost (team name, problem, planned OpenCV 5 analysis and AWS architecture, a diagram or technical description, target users, evaluation plan and a short team bio), then a final submission. The final entry needs a technical report, judge-accessible code with build and test instructions, an architecture diagram, a working web endpoint or live demo, a video of up to five minutes and evaluation evidence."

3. DATES
- Closes 26 October 2026, in 4 days.
- On the date, the listing says: 11:45pm PDT
- Aim to send it by 23 October 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
