Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] A PhD in computer science, physics, engineering, applied mathematics or another AI-relevant field, earned no more than two years before 9 Nov 2026, or in the final year of one and finished before the start
[ ] You must first contact and agree a collaboration with two EPFL host professors affiliated with the EPFL AI Center
[ ] The fellowship is based at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, so you must be able to relocate there

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] CV or resume (One or two pages. No CV yet? Our CV starter builds a plain one from your answers.)
[ ] Transcripts (Ask your school early. Offices can take weeks.)
[ ] Essay, statement or proposal (Answer the question they ask, in your own words, with real examples.)
It also names something beyond these; read their words below.
In their words: "Research proposal, CV, transcripts and the documents in EPFL's application toolkit, all in English"

3. DATES
- Closes 9 November 2026, in 18 days.
- Ask your school for transcripts by 26 October 2026, two weeks before it closes. Others need time to write and send. (our advice)
- Aim to send it by 6 November 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
