[ ] citizen of Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States or South Africa (Indian citizens under CEPA with an English teaching certificate)
[ ] a bachelor's degree from an accredited university
[ ] a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate of at least 100 hours, unless your degree is in education
[ ] schooling in English from grade 7 onward; South African applicants send letters from their schools proving English was the language of instruction with the first application
[ ] you apply online through the EPIK application portal, followed by an interview and a document package

2. WHAT TO GET READY
It asks for something outside the usual documents; read it below.

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)
- On the date, the listing says: The Apply page says 'The Spring 2027 application is now available!' and that EPIK processes 'applications in the order that we receive them'. The Application Timeline page gives the application period as 'Aug - Jan', with contracts starting in late February.
