Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] the entry requirements for a new full-time PhD at a Hong Kong university; current PhD students there cannot apply
[ ] you must also secure PhD admission at your chosen Hong Kong university (up to two programmes), each with its own admission requirements and possibly earlier deadlines

2. WHAT TO GET READY
An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting.
In their words: "An initial application via the HKPFS electronic system, then direct application to your chosen universities"

3. DATES
- Closes 1 December 2026, in 40 days.
- On the date, the listing says: 12:00 noon Hong Kong Time, initial application deadline; individual universities may set earlier deadlines
- Aim to send it by 28 November 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
