This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/ifra-nigeria-research-grants-2027
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] Second-year master's student, doctoral or postdoctoral student, or researcher
[ ] Project in humanities or social sciences on Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Niger, Chad or Togo, fitting one of IFRA-Nigeria's research axes

2. WHAT TO GET READY
The listing does not say what it needs. When you open their page, write down everything it asks for before you start.

3. DATES
- Closes 30 October 2026, in 8 days.
- On the date, the listing says: Application deadline 30 October 2026, 23:59 West African Time, as stated on the call page.
- Aim to send it by 27 October 2026. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
