1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] a citizen of one of the countries on the World Bank's 2027 JJ/WBGSP eligible list, and not a dual citizen of any developed country
[ ] a bachelor's degree earned at least 3 years before the application deadline
[ ] at least 3 years of paid development-related work since your degree, within the past 6 years, and a paid full-time job when you apply
[ ] admission, unconditional except for finance, to one of the JJ/WBGSP participating master's programmes, and a shortlist as eligible by that university: the application link is only sent to those candidates
[ ] a commitment to return to your home country after the degree

2. WHAT TO GET READY
The listing does not say what it needs. When you open their page, write down everything it asks for before you start.

3. DATES
- Opens 18 January 2027. You cannot apply before then.
- Closes 26 February 2027, in 127 days.
- Aim to send it by 23 February 2027. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)
