This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/jobtech-alliance-mombasa-call-for-founders-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
The application takes real work, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] You are a startup founder based in Mombasa, or willing to expand to Mombasa by July 2027
[ ] Your startup is live with real users and helps people find work, train for work or earn a living (gig-work platforms, online freelancing, skills training, worker protection or business-growth tools)

2. WHAT TO GET READY
An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting.
In their words: "A short online form on the page: your name, email, company name and website, location, how the company helps people find work or earn, a one line description of what you are building and your business stage. The form has no file uploads."

3. DATES
- Closes 23 October 2026, in 1 day.
- On the date, the listing says: The page says 'Applications close on 23rd October 2026'. The form on the same page still says 'apply by 18 September 2026', which looks out of date; apply early in case.
- This closes tomorrow. Start only if you can finish. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
