This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/jrf-scholars-program-2027
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
The application takes real work, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] United States citizenship
[ ] going to an accredited four year college in the United States
[ ] a graduating high school senior
[ ] finishing high school
[ ] evidence of financial need, and no more than 25 per cent of your degree credits already earned

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] Transcripts (Ask your school early. Offices can take weeks.)
It also names something beyond these; read their words below.
In their words: "Application form, evidence of financial need, academic record"

3. DATES
- Closes 14 January 2027, in 84 days.
- On the date, the listing says: 14 January 2027 at 5:00 p.m. EST
- Ask your school for transcripts by 31 December 2026, two weeks before it closes. Others need time to write and send. (our advice)
- Aim to send it by 11 January 2027. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
