GET READY TO APPLY: KAAD Scholarship Programme 2, for students from developing countries already studying in Germany KAAD, Catholic Academic Exchange Service Apply on their own site: https://www.kaad.de/en/stipendien/stipendienprogramm-2 This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/kaad-scholarship-programme-2-germany Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours. The application takes real work, by our reading. 1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK [ ] from a developing or emerging country in Africa [ ] already studying in Germany, with at least 10 months of study left [ ] currently enrolled at a German higher education institution [ ] in the final semesters of a Bachelor's for a Master's award, after the intermediate exam for a Diplom or Magister, or for a PhD [ ] Catholic (or another Christian denomination; other religions only if proposed by Catholic partners), German at least B1 (A2 for English-taught degrees), study aimed at returning to work in your home region, and proposed by the Catholic University Chaplaincy at your university 2. WHAT TO GET READY An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting. In their words: "Apply only through the Catholic University Chaplaincy (KHG or KSG) at your university; direct applications to KAAD are not possible." 3. DATES - No closing date is stated. - Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice) - On the date, the listing says: KAAD publishes no deadline. The selection committee meets twice a year, and the application date comes from the Catholic University Chaplaincy (KHG or KSG) at your university. A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
