1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] Undergraduate in 3rd year or above, a master's student, or finishing your degree within a year of the start date
[ ] GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4 or equivalent, and proof of English (IELTS 6.5 or similar; KAUST can give a Duolingo test token). Not open to current PhD students

2. WHAT TO GET READY

[ ] References (Ask your referees now and send them the listing. Give them time.)
[ ] Transcripts (Ask your school early. Offices can take weeks.)
[ ] Passport (If you do not have one, applying for one takes weeks. Check it has not expired.)
[ ] Essay, statement or proposal (Answer the question they ask, in your own words, with real examples.)

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
