1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] 18 or over
[ ] anywhere except Sudan, which Preply names among the countries it cannot accept applications from because of United States regulations
[ ] a language you speak to a high or native level, or a school subject you know well
[ ] a computer, a webcam and a stable internet connection, because Preply says you can only register as a tutor on the desktop version of the site
[ ] an introduction video, a profile photo and a written profile description

2. WHAT TO GET READY
[ ] Certificates or degree copies (Scan or photograph them clearly, in good light, flat.)
[ ] A video (Short, clear sound, good light. A phone is enough.)

In their words: "An email address and password, a profile photo, a description, an introduction video, your availability, your rate, and optionally certificates and degrees uploaded to the Certifications and Education sections"

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)
- On the date, the listing says: Applications are open all the time. Preply says its team reviews a completed application within five business days.
