GET READY TO APPLY: Non-MENA Visitors Program 2026
Social Sciences Lab for the MENA region (SSL-MENA)
Apply on their own site: https://forms.office.com/r/Kmn4ZG84WQ
This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/ssl-mena-non-mena-visitors-program-2026
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
The application takes real work, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] not a national of a MENA country
[ ] a graduate or early career scholar
[ ] working English or Arabic
[ ] an interest in MENA studies

2. WHAT TO GET READY
The listing does not say what it needs. When you open their page, write down everything it asks for before you start.

3. DATES
- No closing date is stated.
- Openings with no closing date can close once they have enough people, so sooner is safer. (our advice)

4. WHAT IT COSTS YOU
- Nothing to apply.

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
