This checklist: https://qualifyafrica.com/o/uk-edinburgh-edcs-mathematics-2027
Built only from what the listing states. Lines marked (our advice) are ours.
A long application, by our reading.

1. CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST WHAT THEY ASK
[ ] a UK first-class or 2:1 honours degree, or the international equivalent
[ ] has applied for admission to a Mathematics PhD starting 2027/28

2. WHAT TO GET READY
An online form; it names no documents. Some forms do not save as you go, so set aside time to do it in one sitting.
In their words: "PhD programme application; EDCS application through MyEd after applying."

3. DATES
- Closes 1 February 2027, in 102 days.
- On the date, the listing says: Scholarship closing date 1 February 2027; the School's own PhD admission deadlines (8 and 18 January 2027 are shown on the page) also apply.
- Aim to send it by 29 January 2027. Websites slow down near a deadline, and data runs out. (our advice)

A job never asks you to pay to apply. A listing that charges shows the fee above, and it is paid only to the organisation. If anyone asks for money any other way, stop, and tell us: hello@qualifyafrica.com
