Terms of use
The short rules of using Qualify Africa. It is free, and the organisation's own page always decides.
Updated
What Qualify Africa is
Qualify Africa is a free listing service. It is a venture of Ighodalo Labs, in Ibadan. We list scholarships, jobs, grants, fellowships and other opportunities that are open to Africans, and show you the ones you qualify for.
The organisation decides, not us
We check each listing against the organisation's own page, and we say when we last did. Things change. The organisation's own page is the one that counts. Read it, and apply there, before you rely on anything we show.
We never charge, and we never ask for a password
We never charge you to apply, to see a listing or to use the site. We never ask for your password to any other account, or for your bank details or your identity documents. If anyone using our name asks for these, do not pay or reply, and tell us.
Some listings are for programmes that charge a fee. Each one says so.
Using the site fairly
- Do not collect the site with a script in a way that breaks our robots.txt.
- Do not send fake shares, fake reports or fake listings.
- Do not try to get into pages or data that are not yours.
- Do not use the site to cheat or to mislead anyone.
We may stop an account or a request that breaks these.
Accounts
You do not need an account to use the site. If you make one, keep your sign-in to yourself. What we keep about you is on the privacy page. You can delete your account at any time on Delete my account. It takes effect at once.
No promise of an outcome
We cannot promise that you will be chosen, or that a listing is still open, or that it is right for you. Qualify Africa is a guide, not an agent for any organisation. We are not responsible for what an organisation decides, or for a site we link to. The site is offered as it is, and is in Beta.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes, and the date below the title changes with it.
